Our Team

Dr. Anup Singh has been dedicated to women’s health in the treatment of fibroids for more than two decades. He  believes every patient deserves an experienced, highly trained physician, who communicates well. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he attended George Washington University Medical School, followed by an Internship at Yale, a Residency at NYU, and then a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at UCLA. He was trained by several of the pioneering physicians in the field, and has previously served as the Chief of Staff of Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Singh is a member of the Society for Interventional Radiology and certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Rajeev Tandon is dedicated to the care of his patients and has been trained by the foremost experts in Fibroid Embolization and other minimally invasive procedures. Over the last 20 years, he has performed thousands of interventional procedures. He is passionate about educating women about their treatment options for fibroid treatment. Dr. Tandon completed his Radiology residency at the University of California Los Angeles. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at UCLA. Dr. Tandon graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Austin where he was a President’s Scholar and attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and American College of Radiology.

Monica, originally from San Diego, and moved to San Jose at the age of 3. She has been in the medical field for almost 20 years and prides herself in providing excellent patient care. As VIP’s Clinical Manager, Monica is trained in all areas of the clinic. She’s exceptionally detailed, organized and has well developed interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with people. When Monica is not working, she enjoys spending all her time with her husband and 2 children doing all sorts of outdoor activities!

Sarah, our resident Medical Coordinator, was originally born in the Netherlands, but moved to the Bay Area at the age of 18. Having been in the medical field for over 5 years, Sarah is passionate about helping patients along their very important journey. In her free time, you’ll find Sarah watching her children’s soccer and basketball games or chasing after one (or both) of her dogs Pepper, a Maltese, and Max, a Terrier mix.

Karmen, our Medical Assistant who is originally Assyrian, came to the United States when she was 10 years old and learned English as her 3rd language. Karmen has been a Medical Assistant for over 4 years and enjoys every part of it! What she loves the most about her job is the privilege of being present for patient’s when they need it the most. When she is not at work, Karmen enjoys being in the kitchen cooking or going on a nice walk.
