San Jose Vein Treatment

Bay Area Vein Treatment Services

Varicose & spider veins are an inconvenience, both aesthetically & medically. Fortunately, you do not have to put up with varicose and spider veins any longer. VIP Vein Center offers the most advanced vein treatment in the San Jose area. You deserve a vein doctor who is highly specialized, formally trained and board certified in state-of-the-art non-surgical vein treatments. VIP Vein Center provides the vein treatment and superior service you can rely on.

We perform thorough diagnostic testing before we do any procedure. High quality ultrasound machines help us see the source of your vein problem so that we can better treat it. Your vein doctor will then suggest a personalized treatment plan using one of our scientifically advanced therapies.

VIP Vein Center treats both varicose and spider veins. Our highly trained vein doctors will recommend treatment based on your symptoms and the root cause of your vein problems. Sometimes a combination of treatments provides maximum results.

VenaCure EVLT™

Endovenous Laser Therapy, or EVLT, is the primary treatment for varicose veins. We perform VenaCure EVLT™, which is the safest and most effective approach to EVLT today. This minimally invasive procedure uses lasers to close off varicose veins. Your vein doctor inserts a tiny laser into the affected vein; this laser emits heat that causes the walls of the vein to stick together and become dysfunctional. The body simply reroutes blood flow to nearby veins. In time, the varicose vein collapses and fades.

This in-office procedure does not require general anesthesia and usually takes less than one hour to perform. Your vein doctor will encourage you to walk around right away. You can resume your normal activity too, as long as you avoid strenuous actions for a few days. A 20-minute walk or bike ride each day will promote healing as well as give you a chance to show off your legs. Learn More…

Ambulatory Phlebectomy

Ambulatory phlebectomy may be the appropriate treatment for some types of varicose veins. The vein doctor removes the affected vein through a small incision. This procedure requires local anesthesia. It is associated with minimal scarring and recovery time.

Your vein doctor might suggest combining ambulatory phlebectomy with VenaCure EVLT™ to optimize the effects of your vein treatment. Learn More…

Sclerotherapy

Your vein doctor may recommend sclerotherapy to remove those unsightly spider veins. During sclerotherapy, the vein doctor injects a sclerosing agent that causes the walls of spider veins to stick together. In time, the veins collapse and wither away.

We deliver these treatments in a warm, friendly environment. During your visit, you will meet our staff of competent, compassionate professionals who have a deep understanding of venous problems and who are experts at delivering state-of-the-art care. We perform these procedures in a clean, comfortable office setting. Learn More…

VeinGogh™ Ohmic Thermolysis

VeinGogh uses an electrical technique called ohmic thermolysis to selectively “zap” spider veins using microbursts of high-frequency electrical energy. This causes instant dissolution of the small vessel without damaging the overlying the skin. This works best with smaller blood vessels and may yield superior and faster cosmetic results than sclerotherapy for small spider veins. Often Dr. Artwohl uses a combination of sclerotherapy and VeinGogh ohmic thermolysis for the best overall cosmetic results. VeinGogh can treat many spider veins of the face, body, and legs.
